About Empathetic Care

Care begins with seeing the

whole person.

Empathetic Care LLC was created from a simple belief: people deserve better than feeling like just another client on an agency’s schedule.

Why I started

I wanted to create something different.

Over the years, I have heard and witnessed the concerns families have had with larger home-care agencies. Families sometimes feel that caregivers are sent into their loved one’s home without truly understanding who that person is, what they need, or what makes them feel safe and comfortable.
Empathetic Care LLC was built around personal, dependable, and meaningful care. I am a small, privately operated home-care business built around a genuine personal relationship with the person receiving care and the family who trusts me.
I understand that caring for someone involves more than helping with everyday needs. It requires awareness, knowledge, patience, good judgment, and the ability to recognize when something may be wrong. My caregivers are individuals personally known to me or recommended through trusted family and close personal connections. Each caregiver is carefully selected based on their compassion, reliability, character, and commitment to providing respectful care.
My philosophy

I see the person, not just the client.

A person is never just a diagnosis, a list of tasks, or a job to be completed. They are a whole person—with a history, personality, preferences, fears, hopes, routines, and feelings.

That is why I take the time to get to know the individual I am caring for. I listen. I notice the little things. I respect their independence and dignity.

What empathy means to me

Sometimes good care isn’t only about what you do. It’s how you make someone feel while you’re doing it.

Empathy means validating what someone is experiencing—pain, fear, anxiety, worry, frustration, or loneliness. I don’t dismiss those feelings. I listen, acknowledge them, and respond with patience, understanding, and compassion.
Small by choice. Personal by design.

Let’s talk about the person you care about.

I’ll start by listening, so I can understand what support would feel right.
